Our spacious suites and apartments offer separate living rooms and bedrooms. At 40 m² to 70 m² (430 to 750 sq ft) you will have ample space to work, relax, and be yourself.

All bedrooms are equipped with a choice of either a king sized bed or twin beds. The living room offers various amenities including a spacious desk, internet and is furnished with a comfortable couch, a wet bar, a large mini bar fridge, and a microwave oven.

Additionally, all suites come with two television sets, with cable TV.

Each suite has its own set of climate and heating controls for your convenience and comfort. Furthermore, we offer distinct smoking and non-smoking suites and apartments.

Our roomy apartments offer ample space for your whole family including pets.

The Starlight Suites Hotel Bucharest can be reached conveniently by car, train, or bus. We will be happy to assist you with your travel arrangements to and from the hotel. If you should require or prefer a taxi, we will make the necessary arrangements for you.

The trip from Baneasa airport is € 20 and the trip from Otopeni airport is € 27.

Using public transport

Arrival at Aurel Vlaicu Baneasa airport: Take the 131 or 301 bus lines to the stop "Perla Restaurant"

Arrival at Henri Coanda Otopeni airport: Take the 783 or 449 bus lines to the stop "Romana Square". Change to the 331 bus line and get off after one stop at "Perla Restaurant".

Arrival at the North Station

Take the tube to Romana Square.

Transfer to the 331 bus line and get off at the next stop "Perla Restaurant".

Inbound from the north

Follow the E85 motorway in the direction of Suceava-Bacau-Bukarest.

Turn onto P-ta Presei Libere to the Arc de Triumf. Turn into P-ta Victoriei and then into Str Grigore Alexandrescu 89-97.

Inbound from the east

E85 Giurgiu-Bukarest.

Driving along E60 Oradea-Cluj-Napoca-Brasov-Bucharest or E68 Arad-Sibiu-Brasov-Bukarest.

Village Museum (Muzeul Satului): This open-air museum displays interesting historical and architectural samples of Romanian rural architecture on more than 100,000 m².

Stavropoleos Church (Biserica Stravrapoleos): The church was constructed in 1724 by Archimandrite Ioanichie Stratonikeas and was part of an Orthodox monastery. The upkeep of the monastery was financed by an adjoining inn. The church is the only remaining structure of the monastery.

Romanian Athenaeum (Ateneul Roman): This concert hall was constructed at the end of the 19th century and has a very checkered history. Originally planned as the meeting place of a Romanian literary society, it was converted into a concert hall when the society lacked funds. After World War I, it briefly was the seat of parliament and was then converted into a cinema. It was renovated between 2000 and 2004. Today, this landmark of Bucharest is once again a concert hall and the home of the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra.

Mogoşoaia Palace: Located about 10 km outside Bucharest, this 18th century palace is one of Romania's most important cultural heritage sites. It is built in the Brâncovenesc style, which mixes Italian and Oriental influences.

Lipscani Street: This street and its surrounding area are considered to be oldest surviving part of Bucharest and historical town centre. Lipscani Street served as the central marketplace for the city.

Palace of the Parliament (Palatul Parlamentului): The Palace of the Parliament, which is the largest building in Europe, was constructed between 1983 and 1989 by order of Communist dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu. The Museum of Modern Art is housed inside one part of the building.

Romanian Peasant Museum (Muzeul Țăranului Româ): This museum hosts exhibits relating to Romanian peasants' lives, such as textiles, icons, and ceramics. The museum is among the foremost museums on the subject and was voted "European Museum of the Year" in 1996.

National Museum of Art of Romania (Muzeul Naţional de Artă al României): The museum is housed in the former royal palace and includes comprehensive collection of medieval and modern Romanian art, as well as a collection of international art, which belonged to the royal family.

Romanian National Opera (Opera Naţională): The first historical records of an operatic performance in Romania date back to 1772 and mention the Operatic Company of Livio Cinti, which passed through the city on its way to Sibiu. The current opera building was officially opened in 1954 with a Tchaikovsky piece.

Carol Park (Parcul Carol ): The park was designed between 1900 and 1906 and is named in honour of King Carol I. During the communist regime, an elaborate monument was added to the park. The park is popular with locals.

George Enescu Museum: The museum, which is named in honour of the renowned conductor, teacher, musician, and composer George Enescu and is located inside the Cantacuzino Palace, which is considered one of Bucharest's most beautiful buildings.

Arcul de Triumf: This triumphal arc was originally constructed in a temporary fashion out of wood in 1922 to commemorate World War I. The current more permanent version was constructed between 1935 and 1936.

Herastrau Park (Parcul Herăstrău): The park is located on the northern side of Bucharest on the banks of Lake Herăstrău. It houses the open air Village Museum and also offers a publicly accessible area, which is popular with locals for recreation.

Manuc's Inn (Hanul lui Manuc): Manuc's Inn is the city's oldest hotel and inn, which is still operational. It was built at the beginning of the 19th century and underwent extensive restoration.

Snagov Monastery: The monastery is located on an island 40 kilometres outside Bucharest. It contains notable medieval frescos dating back to the 15th century. Furthermore, the infamous Vlad Țepeș the Impaler, who served as the model for Count Dracula, is supposedly buried inside the monastery.

Cismigiu Gardens: The park is Bucharest's largest and oldest public park. It lies in the centre of the city and contains artificial lakes as well as gardens with various themes.

Bucharest Botanical Garden (Grădina Botanică din Bucureşti): The botanical garden is named after its founder Dimitrie Brândză and serves as a cultural and scientific centre. The garden houses more than 5,000 species of plants, including over 1,000 exotic species, as well as a botanical museum.
